Is Samsung losing its sheen even in its
home market, in addition to seeing reduced sales in the rest of the
world? The latest report by Counterpoint Research certainly claims so –

market share in South Korea in the October-November period in 2014,
while Samsung saw its share plummet. Apple apparently had a
record-breaking 33 percent share of the market, no doubt thanks to the
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both of which feature larger screens than
previous iPhones and hence might have seen increased consumer interest
as a result.
